Timberlake at GLSEN, Recalls Being ‘Called Names’

The appearance by Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel at the GLSEN Respect Awards had particular meaning to Timberlake, who recalls that as a kid in Tennessee he was “called names, just for being creative.”

The Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network strives “to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression,” and works “to educate teachers, students and the public at large about the damaging effects these forces have on youth and adults alike.”

Married since 2012, the couple were honored for their commitment to improving the lives of LGBT youth at 2015 GLSEN Respect Awards in Beverly Hills.
